📦 Categories
Keep (Gold) — Your quick-access file storage. Perfect for links, images, and content you reference often. Examples: Favorite recipes, Work resources, Reference images, Important documents
Borrow (Purple) — Temporary items and shopping lists. Great for things you need temporarily or want to track. Examples: Shopping lists, Wish lists, Items to return, Temporary references
Share (Tomato) — Content you want to send to others. Tap items here to share via your device’s native sharing. Examples: Links to share, Images for friends, Recommendations, Gift ideas
Bury (Sea Green) — Private, PIN-protected storage. For sensitive content you want to keep secure. Examples: Private documents, Personal notes, Sensitive images, Confidential links
🎨 Appearance & Themes
LnkLokr offers three visual themes to match your style and environment:
- Light Mode — Bright, colorful pastels with the full treasure chest aesthetic
- Dark Mode — Easy on the eyes for nighttime browsing
- Office Mode — A discreet grayscale design that blends into professional environments
To change themes: Open Settings → scroll to Appearance → tap your preferred theme.

💡 Tips & Tricks
Clipboard Workflow — Copy any link, image, or text, then open LnkLokr and tap a category to instantly save it.
Office Mode — Need a discreet look? Switch to Office mode in Settings for a professional grayscale theme.
iPhone & iPad — Open LnkLokr in Safari → Tap the Share button (box with arrow) → “Add to Home Screen”. Use the Share sheet in any app to save content!
Android — Open in Chrome → Tap the menu (⋮) → “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”. Share content directly from any app to LnkLokr!
Desktop Chrome — Install the LnkLokr Chrome extension to right-click and save pages, links, and images directly from your browser.
Desktop PWA — In Chrome/Edge, click the install icon in the address bar to add LnkLokr as a desktop app.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save something? Copy content to your clipboard (link, image, or text), open LnkLokr, and tap one of the four category buttons. The item will be saved automatically!
What’s the difference between Keep and Borrow? Keep is for permanent, frequently-accessed items. Borrow is for temporary items like shopping lists or things you need to track short-term.
How does the PIN work for Bury? The first time you access Bury, you’ll set a 4-digit PIN. This PIN protects all items in Bury. The PIN is stored securely on your device.
Is my data stored in the cloud? No, all data is stored locally on your device. Your items never leave your phone or browser.
Can I move items between categories? Yes! Tap any item to open its details, then use the move buttons to relocate it to a different category.
What is LokBx? LokBx is a companion feature for managing larger collections with advanced filtering, sorting, and organization tools. Access it from the main menu.
🔐 Your Data, Your Device
Your data — whether kept, borrowed, shared, or buried — is your data. We never see it. It all stays right on your device until you clear it or download it. We don’t share it with others because we can’t — we have no access to your data. Your digital treasure chest is yours alone.
